Effect of microwave drying pretreatment prior to soxhlet extraction of coffee oil

چکیده

Abstract To increase the effectiveness of coffee oil processing process in drying beans, this study, pretreatment using a microwave was evaluated. The method carried out with three power inputs. After process, it followed by roasting and grinding beans. Then beans were extracted so that obtained. From 3 variations input power, namely MH, MM, ML, from initial moisture content 56.75%, 7.29% row; 8.32%; 10.32%. Meanwhile, results extraction yield 16.936%, 16.448%, 2.534%, respectively. It can be seen greatly affects decreasing oil. In addition, has been out, fatty acid obtained high. So is very effective to do producing high yields.
